As Patent Counsel, Andrew Mead represents the firm’s clients in connection with the procurement, maintenance, and enforcement of patent rights. Andrew’s primary focus when working with clients is to help them turn their ideas into successful ventures. He achieves this by counseling on strategies that make sense for clients and allow them to avoid inadvertent infringement of third-party intellectual property rights. His practice includes providing patentability opinions, preparing and filing patent applications, both provisional and full utility and design applications, prosecuting applications through to registration, and negotiating and drafting license agreements for exploitation of registered patents.

Jeff Bellomo serves as Special Counsel to the firm. In this capacity, he assists the firm’s clients in the areas of complex business and commercial transactions, estate planning, and intellectual property valuation and taxation matters. Jeff’s experience comes into play when clients are involved in highly specialized negotiations related to buy/sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and other multi-faceted business transactions that involve the disposition of intellectual property assets. Lisa provides substantive litigation support and case management for opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and for federal infringement litigation.
