As Patent Counsel, Steve O’Donnell represents the firm’s clients in connection with the procurement, maintenance, and enforcement of patent rights. He focuses on helping small businesses and startups protect their most valuable properties—their ideas.
Steve’s practice is primarily federal, so he helps people across the country and around the world protect their intellectual property. As an entrepreneur, Steve has first-hand experience and understanding of small businesses which gives him an insight that many large-firm attorneys don’t have.
Steve is originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota and moved to Hershey, Pennsylvania to study at the Penn State School of Medicine. After earning a Ph.D. in Neuroscience for his project, “The Response and Potential Roles of Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 and IGF Binding Protein-2 in Murine Cerebral Ischemia,” he went on to receive his law degree from the Temple University, Beasley School of Law.
